Liz Laroche comes to us originally from Tucson, AZ but has lived and practised yoga from San Francisco, CA to Adelaide, South Australia to Montgomery, AL and now happily resides in Canberra. Liz loves the energy created by synchronisation of the body and mind and truly enjoys sharing the many benefits of yoga with others. She is also a firm believer that yoga is for everyone and that everyone has a yoga body.
She has been practicing and living the yoga lifestyle for 11 years now and completed her Yoga Teacher Training course at an Ayurvedic Yoga Studio in Montgomery, Alabama in 2015.
Her official yogic training is in vinyasa flow with an emphasis on the benefits of ayurveda yoga. Liz focuses on creating sequences which focus on anatomical alignment, employs energetic flow to allow internal focus and incorporates pranayama into all practices. Liz also has extensive experience in bikram yoga and creatively integrates various yoga styles into her classes.
For me yoga, specifically a nice hot yoga or bikram class is my version of church. As I move every couple years, it is important for me to find comfort and a feeling of familiarity in a new city and I am very grateful to be in Canberra with such a beautiful array of yoga practices.
