Nadia Bogacheva grew up in the north of Russia till I was 20 years old. I have lived in different parts of the world such as Norway, Holland, Thailand, Bali, Dubai and Fiji studying and then working for an international hotel chain. I have finally settled down in Australia, which has always been my dream since I first came to Australia on holiday 10 years ago. I have learned over my years of travel when you know what you want, and you want it badly enough, you will find a way to get it.
Apart from my passion for travel, I love cooking at home for my partner. I love finding new simple healthy recipes and cooking them at home. I have started compiling all the recipes I love cooking with the intention of publishing them on the website one day and sharing the joy of simple fresh cooking. I love being outdoors and try spending as much time as possible in the nature going for walks, doing yoga and meditating.
I trained in Purna Yoga at Byron Yoga Center with John Ogilvie.
Purna Yoga represents a holistic approach to yoga integrating not just the physical postures but also philosophy, meditation, pranayama breath control and the yogic personal and social code of ethics. The postural instruction is alignment focused. Sequences range from gentle restorative to dynamic. Blocks, belts and bolsters are available to be used to support and modify postures safely.
Light and positive focused on key alignments and benefits of asanas with the goal of relaxation and feeling uplifted after the class.
My yoga teaching course at Byron Center. I could have never imagined that I would want to become a yoga teacher and begin a journey of discovering all the great things yoga has to offer. I have truly learned that a journey of thousand miles begins with one step.
