Beginners Yoga Course for May now open

Our APRIL Beginners Yoga Course is FULL and CLOSED to new enrolments.

We have opened the MAY Beginners Course which starts on Monday 22 May and runs until Sunday 2 July 2017.

Our beginners course is 48 classes over 6 weeks. You can attend as many classes as you want for only $99.

Ashtanga Yoga Beginners Workshop Series is series of 4 workshops with Kat Sadler to familiarise you with Ashtanga Yoga, and provide you confidence practising this style of yoga.

It will introduce you to the sequence, breath work and safe postural alignment in majority of the poses in the Primary Series. To gain the maximum benefit in practising Ashtanga Yoga, it is beneficial to work on the foundation and safe execution of each pose, understand vinyasa (breath synchronised with body movement), cultivate techniques in activating the bandhas, and understand the process towards cultivating a meditative practice. These elements will be covered over the course of the four Saturday workshops.

When: 4 consecutive Saturdays starting on 18 October 1:30-3:30pm, 25 October 1:30-3:30pm, 1 November 1:30-3:30pm and 8 November 1:30pm-3:30pm
Where: Canberra Yoga Space, Level 1 / 13 Botany Street, Phillip ACT 2606
Cost: $150 for the four session (8 hours)
