The following Beginners Yoga Course commences March 2020.

This Beginners Yoga Course is progressive over six weeks. Attend as many beginners yoga classes as you can each week. After you have purchased your yoga pass, please book into your preferred class each week so as not to miss out on the yoga class you want. Where possible, we recommend that you attend the same class each week to build your confidence.

We offer a number of Beginners yoga class times, so there is likely to be one that works for you.

You get the opportunity in this beginners yoga course, to learn a further stage of hatha and vinyasa yoga each week. If at all possible, aim to use our online yoga timetable to reserve you spot at the class times that work for you. It is an unlimited course so as long as you book your spot, even at the last minute, you can come along if there are spaces available. The ideal way to improve your yoga rapidly is to work with regular teachers at the same times each week.

We offer 9 Beginners yoga classes every week at various times, and are in the process of adding even more classes. Each week is part of a progressive course taught over 6 weeks. Aim to do at least one class per week.

  • Tuesday 12noon - 1:15pm
  • Wednesday 6.15am - 7.30am

  • Friday 12noon - 1.15pm
  • Saturday 2.30pm - 3.45pm
  • Sunday 8.15am - 9.30am

As a beginner, in any week you can choose any or all of these yoga classes.

We are located in Philip, a suburb of Canberra in the district of Woden Valley, above the Cheesecake Shop, on the the first floor. Enter the building via the corner of Divine Ct and Botany St.

Driving to Canberra Yoga Space
Canberra Yoga Space is easy to find, being located in the Woden Town Centre, not far from Tuggeranong, Weston and all of Canberra's inner south.

Our studio is close to the Canberra Hospital, Federal Government departments including Health and Ageing, AIPO, ATSIC and Department of Veterans Affairs.

It is a 10 minute drive south of the CBD, 5 minutes from the Parliamentary Triangle and 15 minutes to the airport.

Parking for Canberra Yoga Space
The best place to park when you are doing a class is either in the large carpark behind Magnet Mart on Divine Ct, which is directly behind the yoga studio. On the rare occasion that this carpark is full, there are also parking spaces at Altree Cct.

Public Transport to Canberra Yoga Space
The Botany Street bus stop - just past Divine Cct - is only a few metres away or the Woden Bus Station is a 10-minute walk.

From the Woden Bus Station buses run to and from the City, Deakin, Dickson, Belconnen, Canberra Hospital, Kingston, Manuka, the National Museum, Tuggeranong, Northbourne Ave and Federation Square.
