What to expect from this class and style of yoga –
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a strong dynamic style. It is one of the two main traditional yoga styles hailing from India.
This practise is suitable for beginners to experienced students who are generally fit with no mobility issues (i.e. it is NOT suitable for absolute beginners who are not physically fit). New students are very much welcome.
In this class you will learn the correct vinyasa (breath synchronised with body movement) and safe postural alignment. Experience the benefits arising from a strong meditative practise.
This is a 1.5 hour led class. The class is half of the Primary Series – leading up to Navasana / Boat Pose.
